We designed the pouch shirt because we noticed that the act of using a sling or carrier is quite a hassle for 90% of newborn parents. Many parents therefore refrain from carrying their baby with them. Huge shame! Because especially in the fourth trimester, carrying your baby close to you is so incredibly important.

How nice that your baby has been discharged from the hospital! You are probably already familiar with pouching from the hospital then. In order to continue good pouching at home and work on your baby’s proper bonding and development, it is highly recommended to start pouching with the Womboo Pouch Shirt. Your baby will feel incredibly secure and safe. Because the act of lowering your baby into the pouch is so super short and simple, you can very easily pouch/carry low stimulation.

The womboo pouch shirt can be used if you have had a cesarean section. However, it is advisable to heed the advice of 6 weeks after delivery to do heavy lifting (no more than 5 kilograms). Consult with maternity care, etc. if you have questions.

Since most infants are less than 5 pounds for the first 6 weeks, this is not a problem. Should it still not feel comfortable, you can first use the pouch shirt to snuggle up with your baby on the couch and just walk to the kitchen.

Definitely! The Womboo Pouch Shirt Female is designed so that you can also use it for skin-to-skin pouching. You then let your baby slide down through the feeding stopper directly onto your bare chest instead of into the pouch. Lie back on your bed or couch and make sure you have adequate support.

Pouch Shirt Woman:

Basically, you can keep the size from before your pregnancy. Have you gained more than 20 pounds? Then take a size bigger because practice shows that you won’t get those pounds off in the first few months. Do you normally have a size larger than your own because of your chest size? Then take a size larger now, too.

Pouch Shirt Man:

Take the size you normally always wear as well. If in doubt between two sizes, take the larger size. It may take some getting used to that the shirt is a little tighter than you are used to. Note, please do not take a size larger, you really have to get used to it. The shirt sits well if it is comfortably tight and does not cut under your armpit. You will find that when your child is in the pouch shirt it actually wears incredibly nicely.

Then, in all likelihood, you have a size too big. As a result, the shirt is too loose causing the pouch to sag. Then choose a size smaller, it will definitely be a little tighter than you are normally used to but this is just what you need to do to make sure your baby stays nice and high in the pouch. Also, this ensures extra comfort for you and no painful shoulders or back.

Definitely! That’s just so incredibly nice! You just put the pouch shirt on like a normal T-shirt. So without anyone else’s help, therefore you always use the shirt when needed.

The nice thing about the Womboo Pouch Shirt is that it feels like a normal T-shirt. This makes it easy to wear the pouch shirt all day and use the shirt immediately when needed without having to first tie on a sling or clip on a baby carrier. In addition, you can put on the pouch shirt very easily by yourself/on your own without help. Ideal if you are at an amusement park, traveling by plane or at home all day (alone).

When you use the pouch shirt there is no time limit. As long as it is comfortable for both of you, you may just keep your baby nice and close to you. From practical experience, the first months you have 6-8 feeding times per day, 8 diaper changes per day so your baby is never in the pouch for more than 2 hours.

The advantage of the Womboo Pouch Shirt is that it is the only garment you have to put on. So you don’t have multiple layers on top of each other like with a sling or carrier. In practice, therefore, it does not feel any warmer than any other baby carrier. We assume you won’t sit in the sun with your baby when it’s 30 degrees. Check regularly that your child is not too hot!

As a man, you can also wear the Pouch Shirt Woman but practice shows that the pouch shirt is a little too fitted for a man’s body. In addition, most men find the V-neck and nutrition top incorporated into the pouch shirt to look a little too feminine.

Definitely! The men’s pouch shirt just does not have a nutrition top and is slightly less fitted. Otherwise, in terms of use, it is the same as a pouch shirt woman.

The pouch shirt is tailored to the newly delivered woman. This means that it is better not to try on the shirt if you are still pregnant. Your body is totally unlike after giving birth if you want to start using the pouch shirt.

Therefore, our advice is to try on only after your delivery. Side note here, suppose you have retained a lot of moisture, wait 1-2 weeks to fit until you have lost some moisture. Chances are the shirt will fit properly then.

The Womboo pouch shirt is both a feeding shirt and baby carrier in 1. The pouch shirt includes a convenient nutrition top. You can slide the top to the side and then dock your baby. Finished with the feeding moment? Then you can lower your baby back into the pouch very easily. As your baby sits upright against you well after the feeding time you reduce reflux symptoms and spitting up. The warmth of your body reduces cramps and creates calm for you and your baby.

Your baby’s legs are in frog position also known as M position. In this, the knees are higher than the hips and the legs point slightly to the side. Your baby’s weight will therefore rest only on the buttocks and the back will assume a nice curve. This is characteristic of ergonomic posture.

At the top of the pouch is a support flap that you can pull up to halfway up your baby’s head. For the newborn babies, you may want to roll a pacifier in the support flap to create a nice neck roll.

The pouch shirt is not a good fit if the shirt is uncomfortable for you, cuts under the armpit and you feel like your baby can’t get into the pouch. Then the shirt is too small.

The shirt does not sit well if the pouch sags too much when you walk and you feel like you are wearing on your shoulders. Then the shirt is too big.

Exchanges and returns are processed within 5 business days. If you haven’t heard from us after these 5 business days then something has gone wrong. For example, we did not receive your package or there was no bill in the package with your name, order number and what to do with the package. No, in case you want to keep 1 of the 2 shirt ordered we will deduct the price of a single shirt from the total amount. The balance will be refunded within 5 business days.

That’s annoying but we’ll fix it for you! Please send an email to klantenservice@womboo.nl and include your name, order number and include a photo that clearly shows the production error or damage. After review, you will receive a return label and a new product.

We may have accidentally made a mistake while packing your order. Then send an email to klantenservice@womboo.nl and you will receive a return label in your mail free of charge after review. The correct item will then be sent to you as soon as possible.

Because we understand like no other that sometimes you don’t know what size you need after giving birth, we have created an exchange period of 6 months. Note: You can only exchange the product if the product is unwashed, clean and unworn. Check the terms and conditions under the Return/Exchange section.

Complete the exchange form via the website and follow the steps. Then we’ll do the rest.

The Womboo pouch shirt can be purchased at any Babypark and Babydump store in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. In addition, there are fitting shirts hanging in each branch so you can always try on before you buy. The staff will be happy to help you.

Yes indeed! Your Womboo can easily be washed at 40 degrees. DO NOT use fabric softener as this can reduce firmness. Then hang the shirt up (not in the dryer) and you can put it back on nice and fresh without ironing.

Heartwarming that you want to give the Womboo as a gift. We understand that you probably want to give this much earlier than the mother’s due date. That’s why we allow you to exchange for another size or color within 6 months of purchase. Unfortunately, this does not apply to returns. Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.

You can return a product if you register a return within 14 days of purchase where we must receive the product within 30 days of the purchase date.

Exchanges can be made up to 6 months from the date of purchase.

Condition product

1. Product must be unworn (fitting is allowed of course)
2. It must not have been washed! If this is the case then you cannot return your product! If you do then we are forced to send it back to you again.
3. Product must be clean, i.e. no hair, stains and other contamination. If this is the case we will charge a €5 dry cleaning fee for this.

4. Passes are allowed, of course (including baby). Actually wearing and then returning it where the shirt smells of perspiration or perfume is not allowed. If this is the case we will charge a €5 dry cleaning fee for this.

5. Return the product in the undamaged original Womboo packaging. If the packaging is missing or damaged we will charge €0.99 for this.

7. You will receive a confirmation in your email, please add the email to the package containing all the information we need. Don’t have a printer? Then a handwritten bill will also suffice.
